Svein Moen to referee u17 World Cup Final

Svein MOEN with final appointment
Svein Moen from Norway has been selected to referee the final of FIFA u17 World Cup 2011 between the host Mexico and Uruguay. He will be savouring the atmosphere of Estádio Azteca along with his countryman Kim Thomas Haglund and the Dutchs Erwin Zeinstra and Bas Nijhuis, latter will function as Fourth Official.The Russian Anton Averyanov is the Reserve Assistant Referee.
Moen became FIFA referee in 2005 and only 6 years later, in spring 2011, he has been promoted into Elite pool of referees by UEFA, so that he refereed a round of 16 match in UEFA Champions-League between Chelsea and Kobenhavn.

It is his third match at this tournament, one with the host's involvement. So far refereed:
Group Stage, 22/06/11, Pachuca: Uruguay vs. Rwanda 1-0
Round of 16, 01/07/11, Pachuca: Mexico vs. Panama 3-1

FIFA has furthermore announced the referees for the 3rd place match between Germany and Brazil. Roberto Garcia from Mexico, his countrymen Alejandro Ayala and Victor Calderon will accompany him, Victor Carrillo from Peru will be the Fourth Official, César Escano the Reserve Assistant Referee. It is Garcia's fifth match, the third with Brazilian involvement:
Group Stage, 18/06/11, Monterrey: France vs. Argentina 3-0
Group Stage, 23/06/11, Torreón: Czech Rep. vs. Nez Zealand 1-0
Group Stage, 27/06/11, Guadalajara: Ivory Coast vs. Brazil 3-3
Quarterfinal, 04/07/11, Queretaro: Japan vs. Brazil 2-3
